A Feast of Gifts: Opening the door to new friendships

Feast of Gifts

Invite your neighbours to a cultural and culinary feast!

Every community includes Indigenous people, newcomers to Canada and long time settlers yet these groups are often isolated from one another.

KAIROS invites you to consider planning A Feast of Gifts in your community this winter to build friendships across Indigenous, newcomer and settler groups.

Plan a community feast where gifts can be shared:

Cultural Foods
Music
Dance
Artwork
Children’s Activities
Speakers Corner

Some communities may want to coordinate the feast with an ecumenical worship service during the Season of Epiphany.

If you have questions or are interested in planning such an event, please let Shannon know: sneufeldt@kairoscanada.org.
