Charting a Road Map to a Sustainable Future: Making Critical Choices

KAIROS’ Sustainability team brings together our  global economic justice and ecological justice program areas, and integrates components of our partnerships and education work. That’s a big portfolio, and the staff team thought that some kind of framework would be useful in unifying the work.  So we prepared a discussion paper, circulated it around several venues including the Summer 2010 Climate Justice Tour with Southern partners, and the KAIROS Ecumenical Circle of Collaboration on Sustainability . Now we have the final result. It is not intended as a policy document, but is rather an exploration of some of the key questions of ecology and economics that are central to the work of the team.  We hope that you will read it too, and help us continue the conversation!
