Welcoming new partners to the ETFW project

new ETFW project partners

With the next phase of the Empowering Temporary Foreign Workers During COVID-19 Project in progress, KAIROS Canada would like to highlight new partners that have joined us for Phase 2!

The Windsor-Essex Bilingual Legal Clinic/C.A.R.E for International Workers Program assists temporary foreign workers in understanding their legal rights and works to promote the overall health and wellness of workers. Based in Windsor, with a satellite office in Leamington, ON, WE-BLC have already offered an impressive array of information sessions for workers during their time in the ETFW program.

The Migrant Worker Community Program, based in Leamington, ON, is dedicated to building a stronger community by bringing migrant worker population into the community. The ETFW team has been able to see Martin, Patsy and the MWCP in action, connecting with workers in the community and supporting a Windsor-Essex Community Health Care mobile clinic.

Also pictured below are MWCP team members wearing their orange shirts for the first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. We thank them for taking the time to honour Sep. 30th!

The ETFW team look forward to continuing to work with WE-BLC and MWCP to provide support to migrant workers in the Windsor-Essex region!
