Upcoming events in support of human rights in the Philippines
A special thank you to everyone who wrote to their Members of Parliament calling on the Canadian government to speak up in defense of human rights in the Philippines and to heed the recommendations of InvestigatePH.
The third report of InvestigatePH was released this week in time for the 48th session of the UN Human Rights Council which started on September 13. On October 7, UN High Commissioner on Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, will report on the Philippines.
On the occasion of the release of this report and the UN Human Rights Council we invite you to the following events to draw attention to the human rights situation and in solidarity with partners and communities in the Philippines.
