Our Dreams Matter Too

On June 11th, come out and walk for
culturally based equity for First Nations children!

The First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada is recruiting walkers and letter-writers for its June 11th event. Check out their youtube video!

We are supporting the Caring Society by asking everyone to join in the call for First Nations children to have the same chance as other Canadians to grow up safely at home, get a good education, be healthy, and be proud of their cultures.

There are many ways to get involved! You can mail a letter, send an e-letter, organize a walk in your area, or register to walk. You can also join their facebook event! We are encouraging you and your networks to write letters to your MP and to the Prime Minister supporting culturally based equity for First Nations children and to organize a walk to a mail box in your community.

This cross-Canada event is being held on the anniversary of the Prime Minister’s apology for residential schools and supports three campaigns:

Be a part of ending discrimination against First Nations children!
