KAIROS is pleased to release two new resources.
KAIROS Worship Resource 2023
KAIROS was founded so that Christian churches could work together, out of shared faith, towards greater social and ecological justice. The KAIROS Steering Committee, representatives of the member churches and church organizations, offer these pieces of worship from their own traditions and understandings, to further our ecumenical understanding of that faith that calls us to justice.
Use these resources as a whole service, or select parts appropriate to your gathering or, in the spirit of ecumenism, bring the words written by various denominational leaders into your own regular worship time.
Prayers and reflections are interspersed with photos of KAIROS work over the years. Free to download or a printed version for a cost of $10, which covers booklet printing and postage if you would like a copy mailed to you.
Creation Care in Our Places of Prayer
KAIROS Regina invites you on a journey of faith, one that challenges our comfortable lives and changes the very buildings we worship in. On October 15, 2022, they hosted a workshop called, “Creation Care in our Places of Prayer: Energy Retrofits and other Faith-based Climate Action.” This booklet contains six articles that KAIROS Regina released in the leadup to that event to prepare hearts and minds for the deep transformation that is needed.
