KAIROS and Birch Bark Coffee Company announce exciting giveaways
KAIROS is pleased to spotlight the Birch Bark Coffee Roaster Company, a First Nations-owned social enterprise working to improve drinking water conditions on and off reserves. Their goal is to “solve the water crisis one coffee bag at a time”.
Part of the proceeds from every bag sold goes towards the purchase and installation of water purification systems in homes in Indigenous communities that are under boil water advisories. Founded in Ottawa, Birch Bark Coffee Company has quickly gained attention locally for its high quality coffee and commitment to social and ecological justice.
Every week of Climate Action Month, KAIROS will give away one bag of Birch Bark Coffee to one lucky winner! We will choose a winner from among those:
- who have liked, shared and posted comments about their experience completing that day’s challenge in a unique manner
- who have encouraged at least 2 other people to complete the challenge
