The Giving Tree Unionville and UPC Community Church join KAIROS in bringing you this opportunity to participate – to lean and better understand the Indigenous rights history we’re rarely taught.
This large, public event will be held outdoors at the Bandstand on Main St. Unionville (at Fred Varley Dr.).
We are excited to welcome Jake Charles, also known as Na-nock-ashee (meaning Hummingbird in Ojibway) from the Chippewas of Georgina Island and his fellow musicians.
There will be a sacred smudging ceremony to begin.
A $10 donation is requested to assist with expenses.
