St. Paul’s Circle of Indigenous Friends and Advocates is excited to present this year’s Conference online with an added webinar series and an amazing lineup of speakers and performers!  The concert on Friday, September 25th features award-winning Indigenous folk artists, Twin Flames, and dancer, storyteller and actor, Travis Dugas Bellerose of the Bigstone Cree First Nation in Alberta. Keynote speakers for Saturday’s Conference on September 26th are Senator Murray Sinclair, retired judge and former Chair of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada and Lee Maracle, Indigenous author, activist and poet. Our Wednesday Webinar series includes Matthew Stevens, Cultural Director of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation with Anishinaabe dance artist, Nimkii Osawamick, Métis artist, Diane Montreuil, Dr. Dan Longboat of the Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies at Trent University, Anishinaabe chef, Charles Catchpole, and Jess Thistle, author of “From the Ashes.”
