Come to the Church of the Holy Trinity to participate in the KAIROS Blanket Exercise, an interactive learning experience that teaches the Indigenous rights history we’re rarely taught. Blanket Exercise participants take on the roles of Indigenous peoples in Canada. Standing on blankets that represent the land, you’ll walk through pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization and resistance. The exercise itself will last just under an hour, but will be most satisfying and complete if you are able to stay for another hour to share your thoughts and feelings with other participants. A light meal of soup and bread will be served.
