The Indigenous Adoptee- Ottawa group is hosting a Solidarity Rally for Indigenous people affected by Canada’s Native Child Welfare system at Parliament Hill, unceded & unsurrended Algonquin Territory otherwise known as Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
When; April 29, 2016. 12 Noon Rally at Parliament Hill, Ottawa

The overall intent of the rally is to gather and demand a resolve to colonial Indigenous child policies that continue to displace and erase our cultural and human potential of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples on Turtle Island otherwise known as Canada.

Today, Canada’s new government committed to nation-to-nation building. We demand a national focus and Call to Action to address colonial Indigenous Child Welfare policies, current and past that ensure that Indigenous rights are protected and honored.
We are inviting all Indigenous nations across the world to join us in solidarity by having rallies in your territory if you cannot attend!
