EventsHow to support temporary foreign workers’ freedom of movement during COVID-19

Tuesday, April 6, 2021 EDT @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

| Free

As we begin the second year of COVID-19 restrictions on farms, this webinar explores how to better support temporary foreign workers’ freedom of movement, including providing information on a worker’s ability to travel and their responsibility to do so safely as well as open work permits.

The panelists are:

  • Jennifer Rajasekar, Manager of Social Support Service, The Neighbourhood Organization (TNO), a partner in KAIROS Canada’s Empowering Temporary Foreign Workers During COVID-19 project
  • Mac Scott, Immigration Consultant with Carranza LLP.

This is the fourth in our series of Information and Resource Sharing Webinars to Strengthen Capacity and Build Solidarity During Difficult Times.

Please visit our event registration page to register. A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent with your confirmation.

This project is funded by the Government of Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
