EventsWhen ALL are free- A look at the conflict in Palestine/Israel and the hopes and challenges of a new generation…

March 15 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

“Until all are free, none are free.”
This event invites us to explore what freedom might look like in Palestine/Israel, when ALL are free…
President Trump recently announced his “Deal of the Century” that he believes will create the conditions for peace between Palestine and Israel. But most of the world doesn’t see it that way- confused?

If you are new to this issue or would like to have a deeper level of analysis than what you get in the usual media sources, join us for a timely free community conversation on Sunday, March 15, from 3-5pm.
Two excellent and knowledgeable presenters, LANA ROBINSON and ROBERT MASSOUD, will be able to answer your questions.
Having just returned from Palestine a few months ago, Lana, with her fresh eyes, will talk about her tour with KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives- what she saw and learned as well as how real peace might be achieved.
Robert, with his experienced activist eyes, will speak to what we can learn from the history of the struggle, and what conclusions might be drawn in light of the current Trump Middle East “Deal of the Century”. How can true freedom be gained for all the people who call Palestine/Israel their home?
Bring your questions and FEED YOUR MIND.
You can also FEED YOUR BODY: stay for a delicious Palestinian dinner, a fundraiser in support of a Palestinian family we hope will arrive in Canada very soon.
