EventsVirtual “Potluck” by KAIROS Prairies North

Thursday, April 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

KAIROS Prairies North is hosting a Virtual Information Potluck – and everyone is invited.
6:00 PM SK/AB/NWT Time
Register to receive the Zoom link.
Come hear more about justice initiatives in the region, especially if you are considering volunteering with KAIROS. There will be a “potluck” of 6 – 10 very short presentations from across the region, including:
– ecological justice issues in Saskatchewan and their intersection with the work of decolonization and addressing racism
– the work of KAIROS Regina
– fiscal relations from a treaty perspective (Treaty 6, Edmonton-based voice)
– Communities Inspired for Environmental Action
– justice work from Mennonite Central Committee Saskatchewan
– ecological spirituality
If you have a project or group whose justice work falls under KAIROS priorities (Indigenous rights, migrant justice, ecological justice) that you would like to present in about 2-3 minutes, please contact Shannon at sneufeldt@kairoscanada.org.
There will also be time for Q&A about getting more involved in KAIROS Prairies North. KAIROS is looking to reinvigorate the Prairies North Coordinating Committee and you are invited to apply. More details on the opportunity are available on the KAIROS Canada website; search ‘Prairies North.’
Join us for a fun, informal hour together. Bringing your own food is optional!
