Stoking the Inner Fire: A Winter of Learning, Deepening and Embodied Spiritual Practice
December 2021 – February 2022
Join us as we light the inner fire, drawing inspiration from Christian eco-mystics including Thomas Berry, Sallie McFague, Ilia Delio, Matthew Fox, John O’Donohue, and Jesus. We will have transforming conversations, hold mystic silence, and gather outside for wild-church wanders.
Each month will feature:
- 3 Eco-mystic/Contemplation Zoom Sessions: “Fire starting” with our featured eco-mystic, followed by group discussion and contemplative practice.
Tuesdays: Nov. 20, Dec 7, and Dec 14 at 7pm MST
(January and February dates TBA)
- 1 Wild-Church Wander in Calgary parks/wild spaces: Lasting about 1.5 hours. We will draw on topics from the previous month’s Zoom sessions to create the wild invitations.
Dec. 12 1-3 pm or Dec 18 1-3 pm, weather depending
