The Association of Indigenous Warriors of Rondônia (AGIR) is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 by indigenous women from the state of Rondônia, in the Brazilian Amazon region. This association is administered exclusively by and for indigenous women. AGIR’s main mission is to guarantee recognition of the individual and collective rights of indigenous women; to form a network of indigenous women in the region to promote training and empowerment of these, and to strengthen the self-determination of indigenous peoples in Brazil.**
