Presented by Tracey Whiteye and Tina Stevens
The Medicine Wheel teaching is a wholistic Indigenous worldview that is fundamental to the values and principles of the Anishinaabe ways of seeing, feeling, knowing and doing. It consists of the 4 directions, the 4 races of human beings, 4 cycles of life, 4 seasons, 4 main medicines, 4 elements and the 4 aspects. It is a foundation to health and well-being that interconnects and interrelates the natural and spirit world. In this session, the presenters will talk about how the Medicine Wheel reminds us about all of these aspects of our health and well-being.
