To mark two years since the release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, let’s fill The Federal Plaza at the Alberta Legislature with over 500 people learning together!
RISE is hosting a mass Blanket Exercise, an interactive learning opportunity to share Canada’s history from an Indigenous perspective. The event also coincided with the end of Reconciliation Week in Edmonton and takes place on #100in1DayYEG.
Everyone and anyone is encouraged to attend. Participants are encouraged to bring a new or gently used blanket with them that will be donated to Edmontonians who need it most.
