The KAIROS Great Lakes St. Lawrence Region presents its biennial conference on Zoom. Hosted by KAIROS Durham, the conference will take place over two days. Our keynote speaker, Chief Dave Mowat of Alderville First Nations will speak about treaties including some historical context as well as an update on current issues.
Day 1 (Saturday): Chief Dave Mowat of Alderville First Nation will speak about furthering reconciliation, followed by greetings from Aisha Francis, the new KAIROS Executive Director and program presentations from KAIROS Staff. There will also be a round table of all KAIROS groups in Ontario and Québec, giving us all inspiration for our own local events.
Day 2 (Sunday): choose from a virtual KAIROS Blanket Exercise or an interactive workshop called Mapping the Ground We Walk On. Spaces are limited for the workshops so please register early.
