Stories from the New Hope Foundation in Guatemala

KAIROS and Breaking the Silence are co-hosting a tour that will bring guests from Guatemala’s New Hope Foundation to various cities throughout the Maritimes! The speaking tour is an extension of the KAIROS Blanket Exercise Youth Exchange and take place in lead up to BTS’ Annual Gathering in Tatamagouche.

Lilian Bolvito is Maya Achi and a former student of the New Hope Foundation Bilingual Education Centre.

Andrés Colocho Chachal is Maya Achi, an artist and a student of the same school. Both Lilian and Andrés are participants in the KAIROS Blanket Exercise (KBE) Youth Exchange. Read more about the Exchange here.
