KAIROS Global Partners: Highlights to Share
In a time of war and climate crisis, women peacebuilders and environmental stewards need our support more than ever. They are laying the groundwork for sustainable peace and climate adaptation. Will you help us spread the word about the incredible work KAIROS global partners are doing and invite people to support these partners through prayer, advocacy and donations?
KAIROS has prepared a set of slides that could be used in worship or in justice network meetings, or in any other gathering where people might take a few minutes to focus on the importance of investing in and empowering women and girls and their allies in building peace.
There are 10 slides, two from each of four partner organizations, in four different countries, plus an opening and closing slide. You could use all of the slides together, split them up to use on subsequent occasions or choose your favorites and just focus on one global partner organization.
A script is also available; it can be read as the slides are shown, giving a little bit of background.
The script is a suggestion. Feel free to use only parts of it or to add from your own knowledge of the programs and places or to use the slides with music. The prayer at the end could be used with the slides or added in another moment of the worship service, such as the prayers of the people.
We hope you will also find a way to share a link or two. Sample electronic announcements are below or you could print the quarter page handouts with QR codes. Of course, if a meeting is all online, you could simply drop the links below in the chat.
