You are cordially invited to attend the Sisters In Spirit Walk 11th Annual Mother’s Day Walk remembering Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women.
On May 10th, we will gather at The St.Regis Hotel at 12:30 pm. The “walk” begins at 1:00 pm and ends at the Oodena Circle @ The Forks.
Please bring your banners, signs, prayers, medicines, drums and love.
This is a CALL OUT to all Jingle Dress Dancers if you are in town please attend your healing dance is needed !
At the Oodena Circle we will have prayers, smudging, some family members speaking, drumming, special entertainment. And some bannock and tea…
We gather to remember and honor the Missing and Murdered. We also come together to show support for those families and friends who are still waiting for answers.
Please dress appropriately.
