Thanks to outgoing regional representative, Wendy Kalkan
As a community we offer our thanks to Wendy Kalkan for nearly four years of service in the role of KAIROS Prairies North Regional Representative. Wendy completed her time in this role as of April 1st. There are many, many volunteers across the country who give voice and hands to the KAIROS mandate of faithful action for justice and peace. The role of Regional Rep is particularly important and challenging as both the leader of a regional coordinating committee and as the “face” of the organization on the ground in the region. Our particular thanks go out to Wendy for stepping forward at a time of need in Prairies North back in 2016.
Wendy, who continues as leader of KAIROS Lethbridge, is dedicated to spreading awareness of KAIROS. She has spent many hours tabling at events and attending meetings as a KAIROS representative. Another way Wendy contributes is by facilitating the KAIROS Blanket Exercise and sometimes coordinating other volunteers in the same program. Thank you, Wendy!
