KAIROS urges full regularization of the undocumented from federal government

The federal government is discussing the terms of a regularization program for people who are undocumented in Canada. KAIROS Canada has been calling for Status for All for years.
On December 15, Aisha Francis, KAIROS’ Executive Director, sent a letter to the Cabinet Committee on Economy, Inclusion and Climate “B,” which is reviewing the regularization program. She urged the committee members:
“…to put all your support behind a program that is uncapped; includes all undocumented people and their families; and is a one-step program where all undocumented people can apply for permanent residency.”
KAIROS joins the Migrant Rights Network and other civil society organizations in this effort.
We encourage you to reach out to this Committee through any of the following means:
- Send emails: Nearly 22,000 people have already sent messages to Cabinet Ministers. Please keep signing and sharing: www.StatusForAll.ca. The Migrant Rights Network has heard from many Ministers that they are paying attention.
