KAIROS urges Canada to regularize the undocumented and end indentured labour

Status For All
Status For All

Once again, KAIROS is calling on Canada to regularize the undocumented and end indentured labour and slavery in Canada by closing the Temporary Foreign Worker Program as soon as possible.

On March 26, Leah Reesor-Keller, KAIROS’ Transitional Executive Director sent a letter to the Prime Minister and Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, urging Canada to act immediately.

“…. each day we wait, undocumented people continue to live in fear of abuse and deportation, are denied healthcare, and are separated from their families, all of which undermine their mental health,” she writes.

Lend your support for regularization by urging Canada’s Cabinet to support #StatusForAll, using the Migrant Rights Network’s online letter.
