KAIROS is hosting a five-person delegation from the Philippines from March 20 to April 5, 2017 to help Canadians make the connection between human rights violations and resources extraction projects in the Philippines, including by Canadian-owned companies, and to build support for the ongoing peace talks between the Government of the Philippines and the National Democratic Front.

This Delegation is a follow-up to the 2014 KAIROS Philippine Learning Tour that visited Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in Bayog, Zamobanga del Sur that were affected by the operations of TVI-Resources Development, Inc.,  a subsidiary of TVI Pacific Inc., which is headquartered in Calgary.
