EventsPRINCE GEORGE: Paddle for the Peace with Rolling Justice Bus

Thursday, July 7, 2016 EDT @ 9:00 am - Monday, July 11, 2016 EDT @ 6:00 pm

If we believe in the inherent rights of Canada’s original people, how can we be moving ahead with Site C dam?

If we are concerned about global warming and its impact on farming, how can we be planning to flood a valley that has the potential to feed one million people ?

We have more questions than answers, but the RJB community is determined to stand in solidarity with all who believe another world is possible.

Join us!

We plan on filling a bus (45 seats) with people who care about what is happening to the Peace Valley and want an opportunity to “Paddle for the Peace”, an annual event on the Peace River. This year’s paddle is taking place on Saturday, July 9.
COST TO YOU: $300/person
Transportation, bus driver, 2 nights accommodation in Prince George, 2 nights at Camp Emile, and some meals are covered by this fee. A $100 deposit is required to hold your seat with the rest of the money due when you board the bus.

We haven’t got all the details figured out yet, but if you’re interested, message us or email thegrays@shaw.ca.

More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
