Kirsten Van Houten
Kirsten Van Houten is an international development professional who has spent her career working at the intersection of development, conflict and peacebuilding. She has worked extensively in East and Central Africa conducting research and supporting peacebuilding and humanitarian programs. She has also contributed to Canadian Foreign Policy in relation to the women, peace and security agenda and Israel Palestine. Kirsten holds a Ph.D. in International Development with a focus on civil society contributions to peacebuilding efforts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
