Project Coordinator, Migrant Justice Program
Esel Panlaqui has worked in settlement/newcomer services and community development over the last 12 years with a strong passion and commitment to amplifying the voices of marginalized populations including temporary foreign workers. She is a tireless advocate for vulnerable groups. Esel inspires and empowers many with whom she works to support themselves and foster community building and mutual aid. She looks forward to being part of the migrant justice program to work with migrant justice community partners, address the needs and advance the rights and dignity of these vulnerable workers, and recognize their vital contribution in sustaining the Canadian food chain and food security.
