Human Resources Manager

Alejandra has over 15 years in progressive human resources and senior manager level in the not-for-profit, health, social, education, unionized public service sectors. Over the last five years, she has been supporting a wide range of human resources functions in the not-for-profit sector as a managing partner at Takata Galvez Consulting.  Prior to that, she spent seven years as the Director of Human Resources and Volunteers at Family Service Toronto (FST) and nine years at Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre (DPNC) where she worked as a settlement counsellor and as human resources and volunteer program manager. Alejandra has a long history of volunteer experience with several social justice organizations. She has a deep knowledge of the issues affecting our communities and a passion for cultural competency, diversity, and inclusion. Alejandra holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from York University, and certificates in Human Resources Management, and Strategic Negotiations Program from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.
