Re: Saskatoon KAIROS Conversation
Thursday, June 20, 2019: 6 – 8 PM
St. Andrews Presbyterian Church
436 Spadina Cres, Saskatoon

Shannon Neufeldt from the KAIROS national office will be in Saskatoon and would like to meet with you or representatives of your churches or communities to explore how we can strengthen our ecumenical and broader justice efforts together.

What education and advocacy work are you already doing in the areas of Migrant Justice, Indigenous Rights, Ecological Justice and Gender Justice? How could KAIROS Canada support your local efforts? How can we work together more effectively, anddraw energy from each other and the broader movements?

Informal conversation will be encouraged over a potluck supper with a more organized full group discussion beginning after supper. Please join us for supper if you can or just for the discussion.

6 PM Potluck Supper – please bring something to share if you can (we’ll provide tea and coffee)
7 PM Group Discussion
8 PM Wrap Up

RSVP – this is not required, but helpful.

Questions can be directed to Martha martha.22@live.com or Shannon sneufeldt@kairoscanada.org.

We are Indigenous, settlers and newcomers in Canada working with people of faith or conscience all over the world for ecological justice and human rights.

KAIROS unites ten Canadian churches and religious organizations in a faithful ecumenical response to the call to “do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).
