About the Training
This KAIROS Blanket Exercise (KBE) Facilitator Training is open to those who are interested in learning how to facilitate the KBE as part of the network in Regina. As part of the network, you will be called upon to respond to requests for this activity coming from the broader Regina community. There is no cost for those attending as part of the KBE network.
If you wish to attend the training in order to take the KBE back to your organization, please indicate this interest when registering.
In the training, we will discuss the various steps involved in preparing to facilitate the activity which include: Compiling the necessary supplies; Ensuring the safety of participants and facilitators before, during and after the KBE; Adapting to your context; Preparing for challenging scenarios; and Suggestions for follow-up.
