Delta is Different: Prevent Transmission Today!

Friday, September 10, 2021 1:00pm to 3:00 pm

The headlines and the numbers are clear:

  • The delta variant of SARS CoV-2 is now dominant in Ontario (and across the country).
  • It is very clearly airborne, at least 50% more infectious than alpha (which drove the outbreak last spring), and more than double the original virus (which wrought havoc in 2020).
  • Plus, it can cause more severe illness and there is growing evidence of waning vaccine-induced immunity, compounding the risk.
  • What does this all mean for Canada, and how can we make a difference in the workplaces and gathering spaces of Ontario, especially in the context of school (and business) re-opening and the likely resulting community surge?
  • Which controls and other approaches will keep workers (and families) safe?
  • This information is more critical than ever.
  • Join us to learn, reflect and ask questions on the strategic application of controls and practices you can start tomorrow.
  • And let’s get going to protect workers, students, customers, seniors and others at risk from this “new”, even more serious, pandemic.

Agenda:
