An evening of powerful stories from women human rights defenders including updates on peace process in Colombia and elections in Honduras.

Adriana Benjumea Rua – Director, HUMANAS centre for feminist political studies and action in Colombia and Latin America.

Dina Meza Kari – President, PEN HONDURAS and independent journalist.

Mariana Mancera Gomez – Advocacy Specialist, CAHUCOPANA, a Colombian grassroots organisation defending the rights of small-scale farmers.

This event is organized by Peace Brigades International Canada, co-sponsored by Common Frontiers Canada, Colombian Action Solidarity Alliance (CASA), KAIROS Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives, University of Toronto Department of History and Latin American Studies, the Centre for Research on Latin America and the Caribbean (CERLAC) at York University, and the Colombia Working Group.
