ECOLOGICAL JUSTICE New Economy Trailblazers

A just transition to a clean energy economy is possible

New Economy Trailblazers is an online space showcasing leading initiatives and champions for a clean energy economy. These individuals and organizations exhibit a do-it-yourself ethic and a refusal to wait for broader systemic or legislative changes. Their stories are intended to inspire others – to inspire you – to take individual or collective action around climate change.

This space will feature written stories, pictures, and videos showcasing a diversity of motivations and approaches from communities across Canada and around the world. The trailblazers in these stories exemplify possibility and show us that change is not only possible, but already happening! Imagine what the world would look like if we followed in their footsteps?

Pitch us your ideas!

Do you know a trailblazer that we should feature? We would love to hear your ideas!  Contact Beth Lorimer, KAIROS Ecological Justice Program Coordinator, at watershed@kairoscanada.org.
