KAIROS SEEKS FUND-RAISING CO-OORDINATOR
KAIROS: Canadian Ecumenical Justice Initiatives seeks a creative,
experienced fundraiser to join a dynamic team working for social
change.
The fundraiser will plan and carry out a diversified fund-raising
program to increase revenues primarily from church denominations,
religious communities, individuals, organizations, government and
foundations.
This is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the Team Leader
of Finance and Administration, and working in close collaboration
with the Management Team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement diversified strategies to increase funding
from
government sources, foundations, religious communities and individual
supporters
- Report to funders
- Develop and produce promotional materials to support fund-raising
activities
- Provide reports to the management team on the results of fund-raising
activities.
- Participate in selected program activities and meetings in order
to become excited about our work and committed to its success.
- Oversee maintenance of donor records and donor relations
Requirements
- Five years relevant, successful fundraising experience
- Familiarity with social justice/international development work
- CFRE or degree relevant to relationship-based fundraising
- Proven excellence in written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work in an ecumenical Christian context
- Familiarity with government, union and foundation funding programs
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office programs and fundraising software.
Classification: Union position, Level 4
Starting Salary Range: $41,955 – 46,205
Start Date: As soon as possible
