KAIROS Opposes War against Iraq's People

Over the past number of years, the Canadian churches have highlighted Iraq as a key global justice concern. We have taken a clear position against the economic sanctions on Iraq given the unconscionable human toll they have exacted of the Iraqi people. KAIROS has also taken a strong stand against war on Iraq and continues to advocate for non-military ways of addressing issues relating to disarmament, human rights violations and democracy in that country. This kit puts forward those positions offers perspectives from partner groups in the region, and invites you to further reflection and action in your own community. |
