The Great Lakes/St Lawrence Region is a busy hub of ecumenical justice work, with 25 KAIROS local groups spread from the southernmost tip of Ontario north to Georgian Bay. This year, local groups hosted workshops on topics ranging from the Free Trade Area of the Americas to Anti-Poverty work in Canada. In addition, Joy Warner, our regional delegate to the World Social Forum in Brazil, went on a speaking tour in the spring. Communities throughout Ontario were encouraged by stories of this international gathering of activists committed to the vision of a better world.
The Great Lakes / Saint Lawrence Region is divided into sub-regions.
