About Cambrian Agassiz

The Cambrian Agassiz region takes its name from two geological formations, the Cambrian Shield and the glacial Lake Agassiz. We take inspiration from this name as we strive to be firm as rock in our resolve to melt the ice of indifference so that justice will indeed roll like a mighty river. As we engage in this challenging task, we draw together individuals and local ecumenical groups from across Manitoba, Northwest Ontario and Nunavut.

The Cambrian Agassiz region welcomes new KAIROS local committees in Carman and Russell. Our contact in Nunavut gives us hope that a group will soon be formed there too! If you are new to KAIROS and interested in becoming involved in an existing group or in starting a new one, please contact your Regional Representative Audrey McClelland for more information.
