KAIROS moments are continually arising in the BC/Yukon region.
The BC provincial government provides all of the sub-regions with
challenges and opportunities to answer God’s call to justice.
On the west coast we are working towards right relations with our
Aboriginal neighbours; to the north we struggle with the effects
of cut-backs to social services; in the east we are creating bonds
with other justice groups to save our health services; and in the
south we gather together to address the problems faced by the new
urban poor. The voices of our Global South brothers and sisters
ring throughout the region as we build a strong movement to stop
privatization. Our hope is in our solidarity!
