About Atlantic

The KAIROS Atlantic Region boasts eight local ecumenical justice groups spread across the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. KAIROS local groups are active in Halifax, Truro, Sackville, Moncton, Saint John, Saint Stephen, Charlottetown and St. John's. KAIROS Atlantic also networks with faith based activists in Fredericton, Tyne Valley, and Waverly.

Taking up the challenge of public education at home, KAIROS Atlantic promoted three successful regional Social Forums. Also on the domestic scene, KAIROS Atlantic continues to be involved in justice issues such as Refugee Rights, Health Care in Canada and Aboriginal/Fishers Relationships.

KAIROS Atlantic extends a warm welcome to new participants. Contact Regional Representative Bev MacDonald for more information about KAIROS local groups in your area or for information on how to start a new group.
