By the end of 2005, 25 million people had died of AIDS, 40.3 million were living with HIV, and an estimated 15 million were orphaned. This tragedy is an immense challenge to the international community—and so far, Canada’s response has been very poor. But we are not without choices. We can mobilize the necessary resources and political will to address the structural issues that contribute to the spread of AIDS. You can join this movement! Your voice is needed to push our government to real action, and to speak out against the stigma faced by people living with HIV/AIDS. We have materials for use in your church—feel free to download and copy them freely. From time to time we will post updates and you can also check our links section for other resources. Contents
